چکیده

A control configuration for the design of robust controllers in the general context of LTI systems (SISO, MIMO, stable, unstable) is presented. It consists of a two-degreeof-freedom control architecture constituted by a particular observed state feedback controller arising from a right coprime factorization of the plant together with a prefilter block. Before detailing the general design methodology involving the available two degrees of freedom, the feedback part of the scheme is first analyzed by its own in order to establish connections with respect to a conventional state feedback controller with full state observer. A prefilter block is added afterwards and an optimization based design procedure for the resulting two-degreeof-freedom control scheme is suggested. The feedback part is designed in regulator mode to guarantee robust stability and some performance in terms of disturbance rejection whereas the prefilter controller deals with the servo specifications given in terms of a reference model.

Robust Controller Design Based on Sliding Mode Observer in The Presence of Uncertainties and Actuator Saturation

This paper studies the design of a robust output feedback controller subject to actuator saturation. For this purpose, a robust high-gain sliding mode observer is used to estimate the state variables. Moreover, the combination of Composite Nonlinear Feedback (CNF) and Integral Sliding Mode (ISM) controllers are used for robust output tracking. This controller consists of two parts, the CNF part...

Design of robust controller by neuro-fuzzy system in a prescribed region via state feedback

In this paper, first a new algorithm for pole assignment of closed-loop multi-variable controllable systems in a prescribed region of the z-plane is presented. Then, robust state feedback controllers are designed by implementing a neural fuzzy system for the placement of closed-loop poles of a controllable system in a prescribed region in the left-hand side of z-plane. A new method based on the...

Robust broadband nanopositioning: fundamental trade-offs, analysis, and design in a two-degree-of-freedom control framework.

This paper studies and analyses fundamental trade-offs between positioning resolution, tracking bandwidth, and robustness to modeling uncertainties in two-degree-of-freedom (2DOF) control designs for nanopositioning systems. The analysis of these systems is done in optimal control setting with various architectural constraints imposed on the 2DOF framework. In terms of these trade-offs, our ana...

Enhancement of Robust Tracking Performance via Switching Supervisory Adaptive Control

When the process is highly uncertain, even linear minimum phase systems must sacrifice desirable feedback control benefits to avoid an excessive ‘cost of feedback’, while preserving the robust stability. In this paper, the problem of supervisory based switching Quantitative Feedback Theory (QFT) control is proposed for the control of highly uncertain plants. According to this strategy, the unce...
